Hi, I'm Sammy Khalid. I'm an illustrator, concept artist, and art director with over a decade of experience helping studios, publishers, and production houses bring bold ideas to life.

I’ve worked with the likes of Netflix, Marvel, Disney, Warner Bros., and Paizo, contributing to everything from blockbuster films and strategy games to TTRPGs and board games. My credits include Black Mirror, Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, His Dark Materials, Pathfinder, Starfinder, and Marvel Villainous—and I’ve led full visual development on games as Art Director at Outlier Games.

What I do best is storytelling through design—whether that’s a striking character, a moody environment, or a keyframe that sets the tone for an entire world. I work across 2D illustration, concept art, DMP, and visual direction, with a strong focus on stylised realism, worldbuilding, and emotionally resonant imagery.

I’ve collaborated with teams of all sizes, remotely and in-studio, and I know how to hit a brief, push the work when needed, and deliver clean, high-impact art—on time, every time. I’ve also mentored over 2,000 artists through online courses and one-on-one coaching, so I bring a deep respect for clarity, process, and creative collaboration.
